ok so it was a REALLY hectic week!!! ok so everyday from Monday to last night i didnt get home till almost midnight because of Sound of Music. THursday i had quartet practice and then we went to Charlotte for the opening night of SOM! it went really well :D then on Friday we had to get up early to go practice with our accompianist for Solo and ensemble. Matt was complaining his stomach hurt so Mom just left him home. When we got back after lunch Matt still had a stomach ache. so Matt decided he didnt want to go to the Friday performance. Mom picked up Danielle and Derek and took us to Lansing to meet Mrs. Eilert and then she took us to Charlotte.... the Friday performance went well, and on the way home we got a call that Dad had taken Matt to the hospital! so we got home and mom said that Matt might have appendisitis! so cam and i went to bed. when i woke up at 6:00 a.m. i hit snooze.. lol then like 4 minutes later i awaken by Pearl (our westie) Howling! that made me jump out of bed quick.. the stupid dog was barking at my dads alarm going off.... soo at like midnight they did a catscan of matt and said he had appenidisitis.. so at 3 a.m. mom got up and went to the hospital. Matt had surgery at like 5:00 Saturday morning! soo mom and dad were gone and Cam and i were home and had S&E saturday morning... THANKFULLYY!! Mrs. E. picked us up and took us :D so we got picked up at 7:20 a.m. and got to S&E by 7:50.... the large ensemble i was in played at 8:16 we got a 1! and we were nominated to audition for the youth arts festival (orsomething like that lol) then my solo was at like 8:48 but i didnt get to play until 9 somethhing! they were WAY behind because the judge came late. i got a 1! then the quartet im inplayed at like 11:40 (we were supposed to play at like 11:15) we also got a 1 and were nominated to auditon for the festival... AND all 3 events i was in are going to be in the honors concert! im like really nervous about my solo...:/ im not sure at all y they want me to play... its not that great :/ anyways! i g2g to TI practice now. so i'll finish this later!
ok im BACK! from Church... ok so i left off at like 11:00 in the morning!! this is boring probably haha anyways.... after my quartet played Mrs. E. took us to Arbys for lunch (not my favorite... its really expensive and not that great. oh well it was pretty good :) after lunch we went to charlotte Barely made it in time. the preformance went really well :) Then we cleaned up, erased writing in our music books, and changed out of our dark boring black!! haha then after that we went to WAl-mart and got pop and chips for the cast party, after that we went to the cast party.. ok hilarious story here...Mrs. B. said it was at a big red barn... so when we got on the road, we realized that like EVERY other house had a big red barn!!! and we didnt have the address. so we passed this one barn and Mrs. E thought that it looked like it had a bunch of cars behind it so we turned around and pulled down the VERY long driveway... then Derek snuck! up to the window and peaked in!! thenhe came RUNNING back and was like "theres someone in there on a computer!" so we all freaked and pulled out of the driveway REALLY fast hahaha then we pulled into a nother barn driveway.. and then again QUICKLEY pulleed out hahaha so we got ahold of Mr. C and he gave us the address.. and of course the stupid house numbers were going up and down and we couldnt find it... soo Mrs. E. said we were just gonna go home if we didnt find it on the way back.. so we went back the way we came and found the right address! haha and it was at the barn that derek had snuck up to.! it was soooo hilarious!! Mrs. M. said she had seen us pull in and out and apperantly chased us up the driveway and then stood at the mailbox for like 10 minutes until we came back hahaha it was REALLYY funny.. the cast party was really fun! the barn was AMAZING it had a TON of games like pool,pingpong,airhockey,shuffleboard, and someothers.. it had an upstairs that was a B-ball court!!! they had square dancing up stairs too.. ok so your NEVER gonna believe me.. but cam danced!! i jsut about died.. haha it was really funny, they were playing basketball and then a bunch of people came and stopped the b-ball game so they could square dance...David,Derek and Cam all ran.. haha and the girl who played the lady who was GOING to marry captain vontrapp ran after them haha... shes only 15.. and very pretty lol... haha anyways she tried to get David to dance..he refused.. then she got Cam toO!!! hahahaha i have a picture..lol!! they made me square dance once too..it was ok..not that great though...anyways the party was REALLYY fun :D we got home at like 11:30 or so....
Matt came home at like 10:30 i think and hes doing ok... this morning we didnt go to sunday school :( cause we slept in and we were really tired... this afternoon we had TI practice! WOOT! WOOT!! i cant wait!!! for April 17 (quizblitz) and the 18 (TI), the 17 at night is quiz blitz in Ypsi so we are spending the night at some church and then we dont have to go home and come back... that would be very tiring! IM HAPPY!! :D but really nervous about my solo..cause like im the 1st chair violist in SR. Orch and im playing my solo for Honors.and its not that great!! :(
Haha wow sounds like you had a REALLY busy week!!! SOM was so much fun, though! It was fun getting to sit next to you! :D
