North PolE!

the last couple weeks we've been helping get ready for the VBS at our church this year..its called Polar Extremes :D...Friday was when we put up all the decorations and finished setting up. i worked on setting up the puppet stage and practicing puppets with the other teens...we had to make the black curtain puppet stage look like it was the north pole...yeahh...we covered it with paper...and it didnt look to good..but then we glued quilt batting on it and put a couple trees in front of it, and now it looks really cool! im helping with the puppet skit that happens everyday. all we have to do is move the puppets mouth cause the voices are on a CD..but man does my arm hurt...we practiced all 5 skits on friday right in a row...but the 4th and 5th day skits...the puppets were just barely peeking over the edge...if that..lol im the main puppet, popsicle the penguin, who is on vacation from the south, he has a long speech every day...OWW!! im getting muscles just on my right arm! :p i taped snowflakes to the cieling..but when we got to church sunday..it looked like it had snowed..lol so i had to retape some of them :D
last night after church we had momentum! its a teen thing we do after church on sundays in the summer. we had a bible study and then played volleyball and frisbee :D Steve does it with us, he is a student at moody bible institute, and came to the teen group at out church when he was younger, hes really cool :Dthe finished puppet stage!
haha my face looks quite ridiculous, i think i was laughing because i was kicking at Sarah...we were at Heathers open house on a brick wall thingy
