I'm BACK! (and happier than ever!)

yupp, im back from the missions trip! :D it was SOOO much fun! if you dont know what im talking about, i went with Cameron, and 6 others from our church to the Agape Youth Ranch (click on the link to go to their website) JAke and Tracy were youth leaders at our church for a lONG time, last year they went to the Ranch as missionaries. We havent seen them since then, so we finally planned a trip to go out there to see them again. it was the most awesome week i have ever had!!!!!
Wednesday: (October 14) We got up at like 3:30 so we could get to the airport for our 6 a.m. flight. This was Cam and I's first time flying! it was really cool. We flew to Chicago and then we flew into Phoenix AZ. We got their at 9 a.m. (their time) which was really 12 our time! Jake, Tracy and their kids Anna and Levi weree at the airport to pick us up. it was so awesome to see them again!! we ate lunch at Ihops! i had never been there before..it was really yummy! Then we went to the Ranch which is 4 hours from Phoenix. When we got their we got a tour and just hung out for what was left of the day. They live in the valley so it was only like 80's and 90's there for most of the week. Phoenix is always like 10 degrees warmer than they are.  Anna and Levi!
Thursday: Thursday we worked most of the day. Mr. L and I carried over 40, 20 foot long pvc pipes! Pastor and Mr. B. worked on glueing them together. We were doing the water pipe for the bunkhouse that is going to be built. We got all 1200 feet of pipe layed and glued in one day! but....then...we tested it and it leaked... so we had to spend the next couple days fixing it.. :/. At night Cam, Emily, and I went with Jake, Tracy, Anna and Levi. to Awana at their church. Ok so.. they have this really super duper long driveway/road (it takes like 15 min. to get to the main road) that you have to go down to get to the ranch. it;s SUPER bumpy! and they have this awesome 1972 Green Suburbun...and...Jake drives it REALLY fast down the driveway. my head hit the cieling a couple times! lol it was SOOOOOO much fun! they call it the "Green MachinE" its prettymuch the coolest vehicle EVER! So we went to Awana and helped out with the kids and JAke did a bible study with all the teens about dating and stuff. we also had to play the "honey if you love me, will you smile?" lol we played that game at our youth group the week before..its quite hilarious...

Friday: Friday morning we got to go to the New Tribes Missions aviation training center place. It was really cool! we got a tour of it and got to see a helicopter take off. Then we went home, had lunch and worked some more! :) Working is SOOO much more fun with friends! Friday night we (Mr. B., Emily, Cam, and I) got to go to a football game! we drove about 2 hours(it takes FOREVER to get anywhere!) to the game...just for fun. lol Emily spent the summer with Jake and Tracy, so she had friends that she wanted to see at the game. Anyways..we had tons of fun on the way there...and "following the lights"...wow....yeah..so anyways we made it to the game just after kick off. The team we were cheering for lost..really bad. they had been undefeated until this game. i had more fun watching other things other than the game...LOL Mr. B. was predicting things and then they would come true..it was quite HILARIOUS! we went to Wal-Mart after the game to pick up some stuff..and some Gatorade!!! we didnt get home till almost midnight..it was SOO much fun though!
  i'll write more later!
