2009

2009 has been an AWESOME year! Lots of things have happened this year...actaully the first big thing i can think of that happened this year wasn't so awesome... Obama being put into office... anyways lets think of happy things! :)
My favorite things that happened in 2009
Teens Involved was AWESOME this year! i had TONS of fun at Area and Regionals, and im SOO excited for this year!
February i got my Braces off! they had been on since Spring of 2007. i was VERY happy to have them taken off!
S&E was tons of fun this year :)
Watching the movies "Prince Caspian, Facing the Giants, and National Treasure 2" a MILLION times each was DEFINITLY a highlight of my year :)
In March i played in the HPA production of THe sound of Music, in the orchestra pit with a bunch of awesome friends. it was lots of fun. also the same weekend of that something not so cool happened, Matt had his appendix out! that was one CRAZY weekend!
Getting invited to play HSMA Honors recital in all 3 events from S&E i was in was awesome, what was not so awesome was what happened when i played my solo! :p but it was a good experience :)
Field Day with other homeschoolers was aLOT of fun! i definitly LOVED it! im sad we didnt get to do them this year :/
Summer was amazing as usual, open houses, and many other things happened. i turned 15 this year, which is crazy. my life is flying by. i had tons of fun with friends over summer, and we had the Fair!
Fair in my family is huge...im already working on projects for fair 2012! i LOVE the week of fair, and this year was no exception. Right before fair this year i was collecting leaves for a leaf collection and i got poison ivy... REALLY bad... ON MY FACE! it was horrible. and what is even MORE horribe is that i didnt even finish the leaf collection by fair time! oh well... :) I made a awesome COLORFUL quilt and a dress for the fair and got a gold ribbon on both! that was a pretty awesome day :)
Right after Fair, ALanna went back to college for her Junior year ..wow it does not seem like shes been in college that long...but it also seems like shes been at college FOREVER..lol its weird.
The BEST week of this year. the week i will NEVER forget. THe week that was THE MOST AMAZING, was the week i went to Arizona to the Agape Youth Ranch with my brother and 6 other awesome people from my church. our whole group definitly learned alot about each other that we didnt know before. it was really cool. :) i REALLY hope we get to go again soon! It was my first time flying (as well as Cam's) it was really awesome, everything looks SOO different from the sky!
SO yup, those were some of the awesome things that happened this year, im gonna make a post with pictures from some of these awesome things + other stuff. :)
