Summer is Coming SOON!

wow... i haven't written in over a week.
So, last Friday we played K-zoo and lost...


Saturday we went to the "Free Fun Fair at First" I got the job of Bubbles! That was fun, the little kids loved them..so did i :p. One little girl was playing in them...and then she fell..INTO the bubbles!

After that we left and went to K-zoo for the Michigan Youth Arts festival concert. It was AWESOME! Cam was First Chair Trumpet in the orchestra! There was a choir, jazz band, band, and orchestra...i liked the jazz band and orchestra the best. The jazz band was sweeeeet! The Orchestra got to play Symphony # 4 by Tchaikovsky, the same song the HSMA Senior Orch. and Symphonic band are playing as a combined piece on Monday.. it was cool to hear it played. :]

Sunday night was the last teen club till next fall.. Cam's last one forever! We went out to Holiday shores and had Bible study and hot dogs, and chips :]


Monday was the LAST HSMA Rehearsal, and also the LAST van ride with Cam and David! Danielle got to come with us, it was SO much fun,  Orchestra rehearsal went an HOUR late and we didn't get out of there till almost 10! We stopped at Speedway on the way home..and got slushies... and some of us got MOUNTAIN DEW slushies..i only got a 22 oz though, so i didn't lay in bed all night awake! The ride home was so hilarious and fun. It was crazy. :]


Tuesday night was a soccer game against CHASE. It was a REALLY awesome game. We ended up losing, by 1..in a shoot out! They were beating us 2-1 at half, then 3-1, then we caught up to them 3-3 by the end of the game. I made the 3rd goal! But, they decided to have a shoot-out! So, 5 girls from each team took turns shooting on goal, I think 3 from each team made a goal, SO another 5 from each team had to shoot, and then they ended up winning. I had So much fun, and it was a really good game. :]Tonight we have another soccer game...but i don't get to play. :[ Matt, Derek, David, Danielle and I are playing our instruments for the CACIL fundraiser thing tonight. I only get to play 1 more soccer game!!!!!!! Soccer season is WAYY to short : [. Next Tuesday we play CHAP, and then we play HAACH on Thursday, but that's Nick and Christy's recital that i'm playing in! Ohhh well, it was fun while it lasted! :]


Monday is the HSMA Senior groups Concert. It's gonna be awesome! The guys in Choir are singing "The lion sleeps tonight" It is HILARIOUS! David is the Artist Circle soloist, and the orchestra is accompanying him on the Lalo. it sounds AWESOME! and then The Combined piece, we are playing Symphony #4! It's super duper fast, and super duper awesome. :]



OK, so this summer is going to be AMAZING.

Open Houses! ( i LOVE open houses!)
HSMA Tour June 2-5
HSMA Picnic
Drivers Ed!(i finally get to take it :)
WOL Camp in New York(also National TI) July 3-10
Fair in August!


Things i'm NOT looking forward to:
Cam leaving. the Cedarville website says 92 days! AHH!!!!
