Happy New Year!

Yeah, so would post some of my favorite pictures of 2010...but, our computer kinda crashed a couple months ago... but hopefully i'll get back all my pictures soon, i think they're okay...i hope!

2010 was a super amazing year, the best yet. I know everyone says this, but... it went by Way to fast!

The Wednesday after Christmas my Mom, Dad, Matthew and I went to the UP to spend time at my Grandparents. We had an awesome weekend. We went to a college basketball game on Thursday afternoon. It was Lake Superior State(where my Dad went to college) vs. Cedarville University. (where my Mom went to college, and Alanna and Cameron go) It was a really sweet game, i was definitly rooting for Cedarville, they ended up losing by 4!

My dad went rabbit hunting and i went with him twice..but...we didn't see any rabbits. haha the first time was really interesting. There was a huge heat wave(40 degrees) in the UP and the little snow they had was melting, along with the ice, which caused the crik(yes, crik) to thaw and it flooded out the bridge. So, my Dad had a bright idea..."Let's cross the beaver dam" Not. Even. Kidding. You. It was sweet. I was like, no way at first...but then i gave in. We climbed across the beaver dam, and didn't fall in, it was pretty sweet. Then we wandered around in the woods for a while, stepping in animal bathrooms and climbing over fallen trees. Then we climbed the hill and my dad went into another part of the woods. I decided to stay back and build a snowman. I gave it hair, eyes and a smile...then my dad came back. So, i took his gun and blasted the head and middle off of the snowman. It was way cool. It would have been funny to video tape but i had left my camera hanging on a fence post so that i wouldn't fall into the crik and ruin it when i crossed the dam. Don't kill bunnies. Kill Snowmen.  It's much more enjoyable, there's no blood! After showing that snowman who was boss, we had to get back to the other side of the crik. We decided to take an interesting route...a route that took us through the flooded crik...we had to climb across logs to get to the dam...i slipped a couple times, but we managed to get back across all in one piece.

So That's my hunting story...even though it has nothing to do with hunting...haha.

We came home Sunday night and yesterday HSMA started up again. Also, Cam got his wisdom teeth taken out yesterday... he's doing great, i don't really think he looks that swollen. I get mine taken out in March, hopefully my surgery will go as well as his appears to have!
