ilove: Back and better than ever.

Summer Camp. Does it get any better? Well i'm sure it does...but i can't think of how. Last week i went to the Adirondack Mountains in the state of New York baby. I stayed on the Word of Life Island. Yes. an Island. I spent 7 days on an island. It was my second year going and i want to LIVE there! I'm actually praying about that...living on that island next summer. There's this awesome program called STC and highschoolers can work at the WOL camps all summer...that would be a dream come true.

We had several hours of bible teaching each day, which is just awesome. Our morning speaker Wendell Caulder spoke about God's will. God's will isn't a mystery. God's will is perfect. I'm graduating next year and well i didn't know what i wanted to do after highschool... Wendell Caulder's messages really really gave me things to think about. Romans 12:2 says "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." I memorized this verse a couple years back...but i never REALLY thought about it until the last week.You should think about it too.

Probably the most fun things i did on the island were soccer, beach volleyball, and high ropes. There's an outdoor soccer court that's super awesome. I thought i knew "good" soccer players...oh man. some of these kids and counselors were absolutely INSANE! they were unstoppable. I also played beach volleyball a couple times which was alot of fun, except for getting my soccer injured knee filled with sand...but other than that it was awesome! Monday i did the high ropes course. I totally climbed up this rope thing, walked BACKWARDS on a log. walked on a wire and then zipped my way down. It was sweet.
