Oh hey there, stranger.

 I'm back. Back from the best Summer ever. No offense to previous Summers, but I got to live on a 48 acre island for two months.

 I had the best work area.

Technically our job title was  "Ropes course" But we worked Ropes course, Mountain biking, Climbing Tower, and Coffee House. Yeah, all the fun jobs. (Oh yeah, and we got to sweep Pine Pavilion some nights)

Ropes Course 

just laying on a board 30ft in the air...nbd.(i was hooked to the tree)

Hanging (literally) around in the trees, chilling on the rock, or tanning by the ladder. Ropes course was never dull. Basically our job was to make sure nobody fully unclipped themselves from the trees and died.(we were successful at that task)

Climbing Tower

 Our job was to "belay" people on the rock wall. We had training the first week I was there, it was difficult at first;; learning the knots and how to belay, but I got used to it quickly and I LOVE it! Some days at the tower were slow...so we climbed!...so.much.fun.

Coffee House 

oh ya know...just makin frappes.

While yeah we had a fun job, sometimes it was really exhausting. Like when a kid was 'stuck' in the middle of the medium wall for 20 minutes. Try to get a petrified 13 year old to jump off a platform 30 ft in the air down the zip line...one hour later...success! Or that time when i give a teenage boy his bike and 30 seconds later he's on the ground with blood on his hands.

It was an awesome Summer, the people I met, the friends I made...i will never forget them. 

i miss them so much.
