Finally!

i FINALLY finished my sonnet...its not that good..lol it doesnt fit the rules of a sonnet exactly..i dont think all my stresses are in the right place..oh well..i did the best i could and.. ITS DONE! here it is...and a couple other poems that LLATL has forced me to write..lol the cookie poem is the only poem that i've written that i like...haha 

The rain is coming quickly from the sky

The sun has gone away and wont come back

The lightning pierces darkness with a smack

The thunder booms and makes the baby cry

Electricity has said it's good-bye

Without the heater cold comes through the house

Sneaking through the cracks like a little mouse

A strike of lightning makes the big tree lie

The rain slows down and slowly goes away

Electricity comes back like a friend

The rain is gone for now, so says TV

Sunshine comes out and brightens up the day

Moms try to keep the kids, but in the end

The kids go out to play and get muddy

Cookies

Cookies are yummy

and fill my tummy

They're bad if they're gummy

So watch what you eat

and dont be a dummy!

Radio

It sits there on the table

Waiting for the moment it can start singing

Wish they would turn off the cable

Knowing it is able

To get them all dancing

Sunflowers

They bend and sway in the wind 

Their beauty shines in the sun

The smell of a sunflower makes some sneeze

But for others , the sight of just one

Makes them smile and have fun
