License to DRIVE!

Yes, i have my license. My drivers license. I took my driving test last Tuesday. I was so incredibly nervous it wasn't even funny. I wasn't nervous about the driving, just about the parking. I went early and totally owned the parallel parking...then i started the test..and i totally messssssed up the parallel parking, it was bad. But, i still passed, haha hopefully i wont have to parallel park anytime soon. The driving part of the test went great and i passed ! I was very relieved and happy. It was my Mom's birthday too, we we celebrated and went out to Applebees.

Last weekend was exciting. Alanna and Greg came home Thursday night for the weekend. Saturday was the Girls Varsity CCHA Tournament. WE WON! The top 4 teams in the state played. Leelanau, Howell, Traverse City, and us. We played Leelanau first and beat them, then Howell played TC and TC won. Then Leelanau and Howell played a super exciting game(Leelanau won) and then was the Championship game. CCHA vs. TC. It was a really close game, TC was ahead for most of the first half, but my totally amazing team pulled out ahead and we won by 7! We have played Traverse City 3 times this season. They beat us the first time, but we have beat them the last 2. We're the #1 team in the STATE and the #2 team in the region. Yiyiyi. It's pretty cool.

After the tournament Alanna, Greg, Matt and I went to the Rock and Worship Roadshow at the Breslin. It was awesome. Mercy Me, Matt Maher, Jars of Clay, and The Afters all were there. Then after the concert we stopped and got Chipotle burritos. I took mine home to eat and when i put it on a plate it slid off onto the floor... 1 second rule!

Sunday was church and Lauren came home with us afterwards because we had to be back at 4:00 for TI practice. Teens Involved is March 5 and we are so not ready.

Yesterday was absolutely crazy.
7:00 woke up and did chores
8:00-9:20: practiced my viola
9:45-11:20: practiced with 54 strings to get ready for a gig we havee next week
12::00-12:50: Viola lesson
1:45-2:45: Lesson with Derek's teacher, he helped us with our duet and trio
2:45-4:30: Hung out at the Mall and Miejers, waiting for HSMA.
4:45-5:15: practiced my duet with Derek
6:45-8:45: Orchestra reahearsal.
9:45: home and BED finally.
I did like 15 minutes of school in there and i was only home for 10 minutes. I left at 9:30 a.m., came home at 11:30 a.m. and left again at 11:40 a.m. and didnt get home till 9:45 p,m.. I can NOT wait for Saturday(S&E) to be over.

 Highlight of yesterday: Marissa and Andi! They were at HSMA, it was cool to see them again.
Oh, and yesterday was Valentines Day, my mom bought me a bag of reeses peanut butter cups. yum.

Today i have basketball practice, duet and trio practice and the boys are playing St. Johns. I gotta go get some school done!
