ride home...it was interesting. i had to sit in the middle because Matt and Derek fight too much!

Solo and Ensemble was Saturday. It was a super fun day. We left the house at 6:30 a.m. and went to Saginaw. It was a full load, Mrs. E. Derek, and Liesl rode with us to Saginaw. My trio with Matt and Derek was at 8:16, Duet w/Derek was at 8:40 and Duet w/ Matt was at 9:04. I was done in an hour! I was so happy i could just get it over with and enjoy the rest of the day and Enjoy it i did. The trio and both duets i was in got 1's, so we're  headed to State S&E in a month or so! HSMA did amaaazing at S&E i think we had pretty much all 1's! I had tons of fun hanging out with my friends and listening to them all play.
Highlights of the day include:
1. The awesome judge that told Matthew the reason he had trouble playing certain notes was because he was growing and changing, and that he might have played a note out of tune because he just grew a toe hair, or a chest hair popped out...yeah, it was hilarious. That's gonna be the new excuse in orchestra when we play an out of tune note. "sorry, i just grew a toe hair.
2. The same judge told me after my duet with Derek that it sounded like from the way i was playing that  i hated playing with him, but he loves playing with me. not exactly true.
3. Saginaw highschool=worst school ever. It's impossibly hard to find your way around in, you just keep going in Circles! it was crazy!
4. Tori- "woah guys, i almost ran into that pole there!"
