I don't understand People.

There are so many things I've wanted to write about on this blog, but alas I am not a writer. I can't convey on paper what's inside of me. I think of things but i can't seem to put them down on paper..or on computer. I guess in blogland most people are writers, I must confess i'm not. I use this blog as a life journal/ photography journal. My posts aren't poetic or beautiful, but they are me.  This is my attempt at writing what's been on my mind lately.

 One thing i don't understand..is people. I know...I am a person. A girl,and these are things i find girls saying more and more often. 

1. "I'm different Don't judge me" 
2. "Don't Judge me. I don't care what you think"

1. They all say they're different...but it seems to me they're all the same. They dress the same, they make funny faces at the camera, and they flirt with boys. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but I just don't see the need of telling people i'm different. The truth is we ARE all different, God created us unique, it would be awful if we were all the same! But if you want to be truly different, set apart from the world. Try acting different than the world. "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.'Romans 12:2
2. Ok, ok. I've read the Bible. I know ""Do not judge, or you too will be judged."Matthew 7:1 But, have you ever paid attention to "Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment.”Luke 7:24 or "People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”1 Samuel 16:7b See, the thing is, People judge people. You judge someone as soon as you see them, and yes it may be a sin, but we are sinful people. The truth is, people will judge you by your looks, and they will judge you by the way you act. They can't see your heart. So i think we SHOULD care what people think of us. No we shouldn't obsess over it, but be mindful of it. Non-christians see me every day. I could tell them "Don't judge me" But that won't stop them from judging me! They need to see me and say "Man, that persons different, I wonder what it is" "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" 2Corinthians 5:17

I guess you could be saying to me right now "You're judging those who say 'don't judge me'" That was not the point of this post. I wrote this to encourage/challenge you. 

1. God's opinion is the ONLY one that matters. He knows what's in your heart.
2. God's opinion IS the only one that matters, but if you are a Christian, you were put here on this earth to show God's love to people. That should be our #1 goal. So live like it. "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."Ephesians 2:10

So what do you think? Do you agree with me or disagree? I don't want to start a debate, but I would like to know what you believe. I believe backing things up with scripture is essential. Let me know about any other verses that talk about judgement or why we are on this earth.
