Where do I start? 

Teens Involved 2007

I have known about TI for as long as I can remember. 

When I was younger, I couldn't wait to be a teen so that I could participate. 

Teens Involved 2008

Teens Involved is a "competition" that teaches teens how to serve in the local church. 

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit" 1 Corinthians 12:4 

Teens Involved 2009

As Christians, we all have been given gifts, different gifts. The purpose of Teens Involved is to help teens use their gifts in their church. Before the Area teens involved competition, all the entries are done in the teen's church.

Teens Involved 2010

Several weeks ago my youth group went to the Nursing Home on Sunday morning, we sang our Large group vocal, Matthew and I played our instruments, Liberty sang her solo, and Trent preached. We also sang in the morning service.

While Matthew and I were singing "Great is Thy Faithfulness" I was watching as some of the residents in the home were mouthing the words with us, and one was in tears, God's Faithfulness is SO great.

Teens Involved 2011

Last Saturday (February 25, 2012) we competed in Eastern MI, Area Teens Involved. 9 other church youth groups from Eastern MI were there.

We sang our songs, played our pieces,and performed our drama for judges. The judges graded us on how well we had prepared, performed and most important of all, they gave us tips on how to better improve our skills.

All 15 entries from our church qualified for Regional TI.

"Winning" is NOT the purpose of Teens Involved. Working together as a youth group, meeting new people, Serving in the local church, and honing our gifts, is the purpose of Teens Involved. 

This is my last year in Teens Involved.

Teens Involved has taught me so many things.
Through Teens Involved I have met many people.

Every year Teens Involved has brought my youth group closer together.  
 Some years my youth group has been as big as 15 or 20, last year we were down to 4. But no matter how big or how small, Teens Involved has helped create friendships and memories that wouldn't be there without TI. 

Internation Teens Involved 2010

This year there are 7 of us competing in Teens Involved. We have had lots of fun learning and performing a drama, and learning to sing together. 

ITI 2011

Teens Involved would NEVER happen without youth leaders. I have had 3 sets of youth leaders during my 6 years in Teen club, and they all have been amazing. My youth leaders have taught me the importance of spending quiet time with God, EVERY day. They have taught and encouraged me in my musical abilities. They have taught me the importance of knowing the Bible and memorizing it.  They have written dramas and puppet skits, made props, taught us how to sing, and driven us to New York(and back) for camp and International TI.

So from the bottom of my heart, Thank You. To all the Word of Life Area Missionaries who plan and put on TI, to everyone who has encouraged me, taught me, prayed for me, worked as an mc or judge at TI or done anything else to make Teens Involved possible. Thank You.
It is something I will NEVER forget.
