His Will

Everyone wants to know...What is God's will for me?
What am I supposed to do in this or that situation?

How do I know if i'm making the right decisions?

Should I sit around at home doing nothing waiting for God to give me some supernatural vision or wait for a billboard on the highway that says "Erin Swett, do..." Probably not the best idea.

God has already spoken, he has told me. His will is for me to live for him.

"Be joyful always; pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Boom. Right there. Question = answered.

"Whatever you do work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men." Colossians 3:23

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3

"Whatever"...he's us given freedom.

Galatians 5;13 "You, my brothers were called to be free. But do not use that freedom to indulge the sinful nature."

I don't think there is necessarily a wrong path for me to take, as long as I am following Him and making his name great, not mine. John 3:30 "He must become greater, I must become less."

I don't have to worry about the decisions I make if I trust in Him. "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps." Proverbs 16:9

God's going to direct my path. So i'm not gonna worry...i'm just gonna go and do something for him!
