Love never fails
So says the ultimate authority
Why then, does love
seem to fail,
time and time again?
Love is patient
We are not
Love is kind
Are we?

this world's love
is not true love

is actually lust
Love fails because
We are selfish
we should be selfless
Jesus was.
Jesus is.
Jesus is love
I love Jesus
Who do you love?
Why do you love?
Do you love so
you will be loved?
or do you love
so others will feel loved?
Jesus loved
But he was unloved
Jesus loved
Jesus was crucified
because of me
because of you
but Jesus didn't stay dead
Jesus conquered death
He did it all
because he loves us
